Loren Specialty (formerly known as Metal Specialties), Meyer-Ekstrom and Blott Robb merged to become Semler Industries Inc.

Semler Industries began producing ink reclamation equipment.
1978

Semler Industries began producing potable water cabinets for airport gates and hangars.
1980

Loren H. Semler, Jr takes over business, when his father suddenly passed away.
1984

Specialty drum filling equipment designed.
1987

Loren H. Semler, Jr. receives patent for fluid filtering apparatus and tubular filter.
1991

Four Semler employees receive a joint patent for the process for recycling and reconstituting flexographic inks.
1995

Loren W. Semler joins the company with his father. Another patent is received for cleaning underground liquid fuel storage tanks by multiple employees.
2006

Semler produces first bio-diesel skid for new fuel blending.
2007

The AWOCS patent is issued to the company.
2008

The IntelliFlush patent is issued to Semler Industries.
2009

Loren W. Semler becomes third generation president of Semler Industries.
